Sa Kaeo - Kabin Buri: 48 km
Kabin Buri - Phanon Sarakan: 54 km

Ban wuan - Samut Prakan: 50 km
Samut Prakan - Samut Sakhon: 83 km

We went out of Siem Reap with the peace in mind of having 7 days to do 300 km, so we woke up without alarm, we had breakfast calmly and we start cyling.

It didn't take long ( we didn't even got out of Siem Reap ) when I noticed that Rocio's tire was a little bit deflated, so we stopped to use for the first time the new pump we bought in Kampot. I hadn´t even pumped twice when it exploded, what a crappy pump!!

We had to stop in a garage to inflate our tires and we started cycling towards our first stop, Kralanh, just 56 km away. We decided not to buy a new pump until we get to Bangkok.

The second day we cycled to Sisophon which was only 45 km from Kralanh. That was our last night in Cambodia.

On the next day, we cycled the 50 km left to the border through Poipet, a border town really peculiar, with a lot of traffic, casinos, guesthouses and shops... I don't know how to explain but it was a little weird all together.

Once we crossed the border, we cycled to Aranyaprathet to look for a hostel and sleep there and it happened what had never happened to us before the whole trip and we have never thought it could happen. There were plenty of hotels and guesthouse but they were all full, all of them! There wasn't a free room in the whole town! So we kept going with the hope of finding a place soon because it was getting dark. When we'd cycled 16 km away  from the town we found a road guesthouse where we could sleep.

In the morning we cycled the last 5 km left to get to the next town. There, we had a good Pad Thai and Laab with sticky rice for breakfast before continuing to Sa Kaeo where we spent the next night

From Sa Kaeo we went towards Bangkok stopping in Kabin Buri and Phanon Saraka where nothing remarkable happened until we got to Bang Pakong where we stopped for lunch and asked for a place to sleep, they told us there were no hotels there and we had to go to another town crossing the main road we'd come by, so we went there and we just found a hotel where they didn't let us sleep in the same room and in the case we took two it'd had been too expensive, so we kept going trought the main road and  after 15 km some moto-drivers told us there was a town that had hotels, so as we were tired we stopped in the first place. The surprise was the following day, when I went to buy breakfast with the bicycle and I came into the town and I realized that this town was the same one we were before! We'd done 15 km cycling around the town and we had get into the same town but from a diffferent entrance...What a nonsense!

Once there, we were in the surroundings of Bangkok where we suffered the road chaos with all the noise and traffic jams. We spent one night in Samut Prakan just to while away the time. It was really difficult to find a hotel there as we were in a very expensive area of Bangkok with all the British schools and so on.

On the last day, before picking María up at the airport we cycled to Samut Sakhon which was 100 km away from Bangkok. We wanted to avoid clycling the surroundings of Bangkok.

Well in the next post María will be with us and we'll tell the adventures of the four of us!
